Dear Visitor, Wherever you are in the world, Welcome to Around The World forum.

Many people may be surprised that Muslims love Mary (peace be upon her), the mother of Jesus (peace be upon him). In the Quran, no woman is given more attention than Mary(peace be upon her).

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: 'None but a noble man treats women in an honorable manner, and none but an ignoble treats women disgracefully. ' (Sunan At-Tirmidhî)

The JFK of a new generation

With Caroline Kennedy weighing into the US primary contest, the ground solidified under Barack Obama.

Caroline Kennedy will forever be frozen in time as America's little princess. In 1963, as the nation reeled from president John F. Kennedy's assassination, hearts ached at the sight of the five-year-old girl by her father's casket - pale hair in a clip, timidly clutching her mother's hand.

Until last week, when Caroline sensationally endorsed Barack Obama for the Democrat presidential nomination, she kept her opinion in reserve. Over the years, as the Kennedy mythology swelled over the party, the mother-of-three remained a silent stalwart; always supporting the Democrats' presidential nominee but never taking sides during its primary battles.

All that changed with a poignant stroke of a pen in The New York Times. "I have never had a president who inspired me the way people tell me that my father inspired them," Caroline wrote in a now famous editorial.

"But for the first time, I believe I have found the man who could be that president - not just for me, but for a new generation of Americans."
